Motion Trails With Dynamics

hi,

im fairly new to maya and would appreciate some help from you pro's..

i need curves from motion generated by dynamics (fields). I can do this fine with key framed animation but not dynamics. I have managed to do it thorugh 'live' with track point but can't use the curve the track creates. Can it be extracted out of 'live'?

Another way might by key every frame of motion generated by my field and then create a motion path cyrve but this doesnt work either?

any help would be great.

After your create your dynamic sim,
try Edit : Keys : Bake Simulation.
I think this is what your looking for.
