mouse issues.....

Hey all,

I've been burning through logitech 3-button cheapies at about one per month. So I broke down and bought a microsoft optical wheel mouse, tracking and precision is outstanding BUT.....no matter what setting I use with the mouse software, I cannot get Soft to recognize the wheel as the third button. Any thoughts?

is that a PS/2 mouse? should work on a PS/2 mouse. A 3 button serial mouse won't recognize.
