.mov Playblast In Maya?

Hi All,

By default Maya creates Playblast file in .avi format on windows platform,

any idea about how to create Playblast in .mov format? On Windows systems.

I am using Maya 8.0

make a file sequance /uncompressed avi and compress to quicktime using your comp/video editting app. Bascially the same way youd be making a quicklime of a render.

HI Joojaa.. Thankx but i want .mov Playblast ,
i Know i can get it in Render. but i want maya default Animation Playblast as .mov NOT .avi

Yes thats what you said and the answer is still the same because thets what i answered. you do it exactly the same way you would do a render into a mov. After all playblast is just a sequance of images. No difference.

Compression ahs nothing to do with the making of the images.
