I have a scene set up in Maya 7 with two ships along side of each other. Simple animation not a lot involved. I have a total of 4 emitters two for the bow of the ships, two for the stern. Bow emitters are emitting wake and foam attr. The stern is only emitting foam. These emitters were not copied from the original but added each one separately due to copy emitter bug existing in Maya.
I can only get one emitter to emit foam at a time. Other scenes, i had up to 4 emitters working (no wake, just foam). It seems that the last emitter to be linked in the dynamic linker is the only one that will work or only link one emitter.
Individually they work, but not together. So I assume that the settings on the emitters are fine.
I've created at total of 52 water animations and have come across this issue 30% of the time having to recreate the scene.
Is there something i am missing? I have a deadline fast approaching and a fix to this will be greatly appreciated.

When you initially add a wake/foam to an ocean maya creates two seperate containers one for foam projection and one for a wake projection. An emitter is created that is dynamically referenced to both containers.
Just to make sure, what you are saying is create an emitter that is linked only to the wake container and then create another emitter for a foam container? I will try that.
Thank you.
