Not sure about multi-uv's because I never use them.
As for the Maya UV's not matching up with the objects in the scene. What you need to do is use an expression to link a maya uv space to prman so they match. Just make a dummy 2dplacement node in maya, then goto your "MayaUV" nodes and in the "ST Matrix 0" "ST Matrix 1" you should change them to expressions and put the expression [st0 place2dtextures] and [st1 place2dtextures). Replace place2dtextures with the name of the 2d placement node.
