My First Maya Project!

Heres my first model. Still not finished completely, but close! Thanks to people on this board, you were a big help. Its modeled after a wind-up toy using Maya 8.5 and rendered with Maya software. I just finished a class recently so this is what Ive learned from that as well as internet research and reading thru my books. Critiques would be great. Thanks!

Wow man. This is very good for the first project!. The model isn't so bad, the shading is good, you even have some textures, the lighting is simple but convincing, and the environment is also looking not to bad. You have a talent or you study really a lot (or both).

Tip: You can make small bevels on all sharp edges, it will make it look much better (because there aren't any 90* edges in the real world. There aren't any edges at all in fact, because molecules, atoms, quarks etc.. are round, but that really doesn't matter)
