I am attempting to set up an animated banner rig that follows a path and also has secondary ripples and am using the following method:
Poly plane attached to motion path and flow path animation applied.
convert to ncloth
adjusting influence between flow path / ncloth by painting 'input attract' values for polyplane (leading edge of plane follows path with rest of plane whipping in wind).
play simulation and banner falls as if ignoring path and reacting solely to gravity.
Any tips someone can provide to achieve results seen in demonstration below that i may be missing?
