I've been hesitant to post this for fear of reprisal, but after giving it much thought I realize that 1) I don't have any time left to dilly dally and 2) I really don't care if people have problems about it or not.
Okay, I have modelled three characters that need to be rigged and intend on modelling at least two more. This is the design and model of the first one:
His current status is:
-Bones set up and weighted
-Brow, Mouth, and Teeth blendshapes have been created using Jason Osipa's Stop Staring Template
What I need is a rig compatible with Maya 6.5 and include at least the following features:
-IK/FK arms/legs w/ blending
-Foot Roll
-Head Lock
-Facial Rig and Controls
Basically what I'm asking for is to have a character that is already weighted, to be rigged for animation capabilities no different than most all other freeware humanoid rigs like lowman or 10 second club's Theo. While I am capable and have created my own rigs in the past, I would much rather use one by somebody who's focus and knowledge exceeds my own since the last time I rigged, it was in Maya 4.5 before they even featured ik blending. In short, while I can do it on my own, I'm not that good at it.
Here's the kicker, this is a request, not an offer. This means I can't pay you. All I can offer is that any work you've done will be credited to you if it's featured in my reel or on my site, and you have my permission to use my model on any reel or animation you produce also as long as I am credited. As I've said, there are two more characters that need to be rigged as well. One is, like this one, completely weighted and features a full facial blendshape set, but the rig I created isn't working very well. The other, my latest model, has not been set up for anything yet, but I'm willing to do the gruntwork of weighting and creating the facial blendshapes. If you may be interested in rigging them instead, let me know and I'll post pictures of them as well or you can check here under '3d art' which has pictures of all the models I've made so far.
