Hi,
I'm pretty new in maya and I am trying to batch render a png sequence using mental ray. It does render, but I am unable to open it in other programs such as Photoshop and After Effects.
I get the following warning when I'm rendering the current frame:
Warning: (Mayatomr. Export) Maya image format not supported, using iff instead.
Does anybody have a clue what the problem might be, and how to fix it?
Thanks
Irene
If you get the files with png extension after this error that would probably mean that the extension is wrong (mental ray renders iff but it makes the extension png)
So u can open this probably as iff.
I know this is a bit stupid but it is worth a check if there's a chance u wont have to render the frames again.
Just try renameing the files to something.iff instead of something.png
Otherwise use iff so u dont have to rename the files lol but i think that is clear.
