Negative expressions

Hi there,

I am trying to create an expression that will cause an object to move negatively from another.

For example, if the reference object moves in X positive axis, then the object with expression moves in X negative axis.

But I don't know how to write the right syntax. In the Expression case (in Expression > Edit), after the dot, what do I type? There is no "negative" function curve in the list (when clicking Fcurve).

It goes like this.

Affected element:
myaffectedelement.etrnx

Expression:
-( myreferenceelement.etrnx )

It does exactly what I want!
