I would prefer that instead of posting latest updates on your main page, you instead use the space for a menu or more imagery. I tend to assume there is hypertext and have to hunt around for something that takes me to another page, specifically what I am looking for such as your gallery. The buttons at the bottom are nicely done though.
I like your dog story board the best. I know it is just a storyboard, but it seems like you were really inspired when you did it. You have some nice 3D work, and I am puzzled why it seems to be hidden. In all some good stuff thanks for sharing.

Hmm...I see what you are saying. Thanks for your honest opinion. BTW I didn't come up with the Dog Story. I just attempted to storyboard the script.

I was refering to the art work. It seemed very expressive, and inspired. I know it was rough, but when we are in the zone, we may do our most refinement. It isn't our fault that paper pencil doesn't allow for many corrections.
The rest of your work was good too. I was only pointing out my favorite. I hope that was obvious.
Thanks again for posting.

You're totally right. That was probably my most expressive, yet less refined piece on the site. Good eye!

By the way. You can easily clean up smudges and other artifacts from scranned drawings by doing this in Photoshop.
1. Open image in Photoshop and select Image/Adjust/Levels.
2. In the middle you will see a box with a bar graph and three triangles under it.
3. Move the triangle on the right toward the center until the unwanted stuff like smudges are gone. This essentially removes a certain range of colors from the image, specifically the faint gray from smudges etc.
Afterwards you can then user Image/Adjust/Brightness contrast to make darks more pronounced. Sometimes it helps to use the standard Blur filter before you adjust levels.
Hope this helps. Again a lot of nice work.

Thanks for the tips!

I like the site but did find the buttons at the bottom initially hard to find. I was browsing the latest updates looking for a link also. It's good that you color coordinated the updates to the section/buttons at the bottom. But the difficulties finding the links initially could be improved upon.
Your talents are very ... um ... varied? You have web design, illustration, 3D and storyboards (which are all good). But, what type of position are you looking for? You might want to specialize your website to a specific interest or job skill.
Diversity is good ... I just wasn't sure what you are going for.
Those are just my impressions from viewing the site. If that's what you intended - leave it alone.
I see what you mean. I just made the changes. On the updates page I linked them up so they go directly to the sections.
My ultimate career goal is to be a 3d animator. But it's only been recently that I've started doing 3d work in Maya. I'm definitely still in the learning stage. The other things on the site are just things I did in school or in my free time. I liked what I came up with so I thought "what the hey" and I posted what I had. I have absolutely NO proper training in either fine art, storyboarding or web design. But you know what - it eventually got me a job in designing GUIs and websites for the navy. So anything possible, I guess. Thanks for the suggestions. It's definitely helping.
