Networkbox Help

Hi All

I have a doubt in houdini there is node is in houdini called as network box and we can use nbadd for adding but while i am using that command nothing is coming to my netview .. can you just tell me how i can add a networkbox and in maya script editor we can see what maya is writing in history is there is any editor like in houdini please help me ... I am trying to get in to houdini and one more thing yes i am using houdini 9 only
