Hey there, does anybody have any 'recipes' for making nice looking eyes? Please take a look at the images I've posted to see what I have in mind.

None of those pics has what you would call realistic eyes but they are very nice nonetheless, and that's what I'm looking for. You may also notice that most of these have a certain irridecence to them. How would you achieve that? I have been messing with different materials but I just can get that shine and irridecence... Any tips, formulas, links to tutorials?
