Night vision lens shader?

hello to all, just joined and i am very impressed and i have found a lot of useful information. so here goes with my query i was wondering if there is a lense shader that simulates night vision (with the green tinge) i have played around with the volume shaders and turned everything green but i am not entirely happy with the results, i am using the toon ink lens shader in my scene and the ink is also green and it is almost right. any advice would be great.

I would do it in post. You just need to properly light your scene, as if it wasn't the night. Then in post you turn everything in black and white, then colorize everything in green, then apply some strong noise effect.
