No Houdini Gui on SGI320 Win2K

Has anyone run into this problem?

I have an SGI 320 that I upgraded to Win2K. installed all the newest Win2k stuff from SGI. But when I launch Houdini all I get is an hourglass then no splash screen and no gui. If I check the task manager Houdini is running.

This is a graphics problem. All the licensing and everything is correct. I have talked with SideFX support and made a post to the Houdini list but I have been able to get a solution yet.

Is there anyone out there running a 320 with Win2k and Houdini?

If so what settings are you using. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I remember that I hade the same problems but with
winNT 4 and Houdini 4.0. When I've upgraded to win2k and Installed hfs4.1 I solved wverything. I do remember that I had to try different drivers for the cobalt graphics before having houdini up and running.
