I want to animate a coin with dymamics (gravity and obstacles). I can only use Gravity and obstacles, when I made a Soft Body. But there is no rigid body. How would you use dynamics with a coin, where the shape doesn
I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try:
Use softbody animation on something coin shaped. Then hide it and parent the coin to that object.
or
This will work: Do it in Softimage3D and load that scene into XSI.
I would rather turn up the stiffness of the object. Also, lets say i got a box falling down on several other boxes, then how do I make all boxes obstacles to eachother in an easy way?
Thank you for your reply - I think I
I don't understand really why XSI doesn't have rigid bodies? I use them a lot in Maya... assuming a don't have access to SI3D or Maya, how would I get around such a limitation short of keyframing everything?
