in other words:
1)If You already have good-working targets, then omit this and just make sure they have same location as base obj and proceed with next step. Otherwise "turn on" every single blendshape and duplicate base object, so You'll re-gain targets for each blend.
2) Select all of them (base too), move to correct place, snap their pivots collectively to one point (e.g. origin), and delete history, freeze transforms.
3) Rename targets if necessary. Blend.
NOTE: Delete blend targets at final phase of rigging only, and keep one file with them exported.
