Hey guys just made an account here not long ago. i have been visting this site for a long time now checking out the gallerys and i have always been inspired by the work people post on this site. the reason i'm making this thread is because i bought maya 2008 a while back, (after using blender for a bit) and i would love for people to post links to great free tutorilas on character modeling. I checked out your tutorial forms but coulnd't find anything that suited my needs.
if you think i should start of a little bit easier by posting links to tutorials that aren't really nessecsary character modelnig but can still helping me in modeling period then that's great as well.
I really need to starting bucklying down on this modeling business since i'm gonna be done highschool in two more years, and i need to start working on my portfolio soon for college.
if i get alot of response, and links i would be posting pictures of my projects, finished models from any tutorial, and would ask for opinons on them, if they suck just tell me i can deal with the truth
if you guys wanna know the style of modeling i want to do for my career it is definitely like Final Fantasy, google Final Fantasy: Advent children for people who dont know what i'm talking about.
