hello, i'm thinking of buying the new dell inspiron 8600 with the geForce GO 5650 graphics card. is this a good card for MAYA? i read some reviews but as always there's no clear answer to it... anyone with experience of this card and MAYA?
Ive been eyeballin that laptop too... think there down to 1299 now w/4x dvd burner... add 200 for the gfx card. Also i see the M60 is as low as 1999. Yeah I'm not sure which route to go either. Ive used maya on a 700 dollar celoron dell laptop and it worked OK... so i just might go for the basic 1299 dell... i think im gonna stick to the standard display size that 1900x whatever seems like it's be way to rough to see on such a small screen, ya know? keep me posted on what you do
