Nothing happen when I execute a script

I have a script called spiral.mel.
I want to execute this one so I go to [Windows]>[General Editor]>[Scripts Editor].
Then I go to [File]>[Open Script] and select spiral.mel.

The code appears in the bottom part of the Script Editor.
The I click [Script] > [Execute] to execute the script.
The spiral.mel code jump in the top part of the Script Editor, but nothing happened !
There's nothing... no spiral...
I tried with others scripts but it's the same thing... Actions that scripts are supposed to do, don't happened ...
Why?
(Maybe I'm wrong but Is it because I'm using un multiple-processor?)

Many scripts have functions that you tupe into the command line after executing. Open the script in a text editor.. many times the instructions are in the header.
