Hi, all--
I’m working on a simple (ha) pouring simulation in Maya 2013 using nParticles, bottle-to-glass, and am following the tutorial in Getting Started with Maya (http://download.autodesk.com/us/...C0D-A36F-8117C1D5CBAE.htm). All works beautifully until it’s time to output the mesh, and then, towards the end of the pouring, all the mesh goes really low-res and disappears altogether--both what was left in the bottle and what was previously successfully poured into the glass. I’ve adjusted every parameter I can think of (particle radii, blobby radius, viscosity, iteration counts and maxes, etc., etc., etc.) and no matter what I do the same problem happens at the same place. I’ve had no luck with extensive Googling this problem, either. What could be causing this? sudden disappearance of the mesh? (I should note that before it’s converted to a mess, the simulation works great, with the particles behaving as expected--this appears to be a mesh issue, not a particle issue, yes?)
Thanks!
