I've never worked with a combination of video and still before, but now have a project that needs to use both together. I'm supplied with a digibeta tape of live action footage, and digital stills of some things that need to be composited and animated. Final Output to video and to web (probably Flash)
So, I'm assuming that I will be deinterlacing the video, and removing the pulldown in Shake (or somewhere else better?) What I'm curious about is what to do about pixel dimensions in the source material (rectangular and square pixels)? And, should I be concerned with any sort of stretch or squeeze? Anything else I'm forgetting?
Thanks,
