I didn't test more on mac, but i have tested the linux version in our studio, it crashed a lot to, sometimes only when moving a slider, (did it on many try, crashed 6 times on 10 try) it was on fine tuning primatte parameters.
It looks interesting on many aspects but some others are just not smart like the matte tool (bezier) who is far to be productif. There is a lot of cool features that i will probably never use and forget the more important.
Well maybe i didn't find it yet, i am still train, even it is hard when i have using shake since many years.
We have been running 5.0v1 on 10.4.11 with little issues other than the QT issues and the lack of furnace plugins working.
I just tried to switch everyone to 8 core systems on 10.5.4, and that went nuts. Nuke would constantly crash. The curve editor could lock the system up, even launching Nuke could cause a graphics freakout.
Not sure what I am going to do with this. Even 5.0v2 does not fix the issue.
