Nuke Cannot Output Ntsc Mov Correctly

HI, this is emergent!
When i playblast a maya avi(ntsc 30fps), import the avi into Nuke, then output the mov(codec:photo-jpeg/motion jpeg...i tried almost everything), the fps is 29.97, the result is so wrong! esp the start frame and the end frame of the mov cannot match the avi correctly, for example, the maya avi is 0-34,but the mov can only reach 33f.
Can anybody help me? Thanks ...

Don't use quicktime. Stick with sequential frames. Only compile quicktime as your last step on the way out.

i do output mov at the last step. but the point is i find the nuke cannot read avi correctly, thru the viewer the image is quite unstable.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant that you should stick with sequential frames in Nuke. Convert your avi>sequential tif/sgi/tga, etc... outside of Nuke.
