This thread is with regard to using Framecycler handling Gain/Gamma values in comparison of RV, while previewing shots from Nuke.
I had been using RV and Framecycler both for previewing my 32bit exr compositing renders. While we try to adjust Gain/Gamma values, i find that RV handles better, when compared to Framecycler. Example, when we pump down the Gamma or Gain in Framecycler (while previewing), it doesn't pump down as Nuke does. Color seems to get bleached. On the contrary, i find RV does a best job. Correct me if am wrong
Please note, under FrameCycler setting i had set to Settings>Cache>Cache Precision to 16bit float.
Thanks,
