Nuke Tutorials...?

Hello,

DD recently released a demo of Nuke. I am looking into trying it out but at the moment I don't know of any Nuke-specific tutorials online. Any suggestions?

there are some tutorials that ship with nuke and that should be part of the demo version as well (don't know if they actually are though).
these should get you started.
other than that there is hours and hours of nuke demo material on DVD :

Thanks, Frank. I completely spaced on the Gnomon DVD's. I hope the demo comes with something to get me started until I pick up the Gnomon DVD's.

I live minutes away from DD and currently make a living creating visual effects for film. So this could work out nicely. Thanks again.

ha, ha, yes, sounds like you should defintely check out Nuke living in that neighbourhood :-D.
I'm pretty sure the demo comes with the standard docs/tutorials, it wouldn't make sense if it didn't. After all they want you to learn it.
When you've gone through the stuff that is included and still have questions I'm sure you can be helped in here. Seeing that there will be quite a few new users soon I'm happy to write up a few tutorials and post them here if more info needed.

I downloaded the Nuke demo. I don't see any tutorials bundled with the program. There is the manual and the NUKE_Getting_Started.pdf, which helped a little bit. This is quite unfortunate. Side Effects and Autodesk bundled tutorials with their demo versions of Houdini and Maya.

As an aside, one of my main complaints is that I can't save my work with the demo version of Nuke. Many companies that make demo versions available will let the user save their projects in some sort of file format.
