Could you be more specific. Such as are you trying to joing the edges into one surface, or make the edges be tangent, or simply lock the edges together?Urp

Use Draw/Merge Surfaces.
Couple of hints.
They both need to be NURBS. If you have a B-Spline surface, then you can convert it to NURBS with Effect/Convert.
The edges must both be U or V. Use Show/Edge Flags. This displays green or red markers for U and V. Just be sure that red edges touch or green edges touch in the same corner.
If you need to move UV's around Use Effect Inverse on one of them, or Effect/Curve Controls to specify specifically.
If you merge two surfaces together, like two halves of a head, and want to close the other ends. You don't use merge, since this is to merge two different surfaces. Instead use Draw/OpenClose. Just like a curve it will close the ends of a single surface.
If you have a tube shape like a fuselage, you can close the ends with Info/Selection Capping Top or Bottom. This closes off the end by moving poles so that it is smooth and round.

Oops!!!To use Merge Surface you can also use B-Spline surfaces not just NURBS, so you don't have to convert if you don't want.
