old man's head

Here is something I did for fun during the last week.
I didn't do a lot of 3d work durig the last year so I thought this would be a good start for 2003 ;o).
I want to work more on the eyes and can't help feeling that there is something strange with the ears, so any comments on this are very appreciated.

Your link is bad??

Strange, must be a problem with megspace.com, the link is correct. Anyway I changed it so the image should show up now.
Thanks for pointing it out!

There seems to be a valley between the cheek and the nose, shouldn't the high point of the cheeks blend into the nose, between the nostrils and the brow?

oops, you are quite right I guess. Funny how you start getting blind for obvious things once you get into detail. Thanks for pointing that out!

Frank

Here is an updated version. Hope you like it:

Frank, the connection between the ear and side of the head seems a little awkward, in my opinion.

Perhaps the lighting is too harsh for the subject. He kind of looks a little scary. Maybe you could bring that creepy quality out more in the lighting.??

Where is Munich, USA? I thought that was Germany, and it looks like it is given the funky phone number.

Yep, Munich is Germany, why do you ask?
Regarding the scary touch of the head, I very much hope to be able to emphasize that with the animation (once I find the time to continue work on it).

Because i think last time i checked out the website, for contact info it said, Munich, USA. Which i thought was rather odd.
