Open Maya Iff In Photoshop?

I have hundreds of iff files and I need to convert them into Photoshop or any other raster file format that will open in Photoshop. I have heard many people say its not possible and then I have heard it is possible? I'm just looking for a solution to my problem the need is very urgent as the overseas studio that has delivered them to me is now not under contract by us and I'm pretty much stuck with these files.

I have Maya and can view them with Fcheck. Is there something that I should be doing at this stage? Or is my thinking of trying to find a Photoshop plug-in going in the right direction?

adobe itself provides iff file suport on the extra contend cd wich you get with photoshop.
somewhere on the cd are aditional fileformat plugins.
