We are talking about Maya 2009 Unlimited on Vista Ultimate x64, GeForce GTX280 and Quad core with 8 GB ram.
The problem is when I go painting hair color or baldness texture on polys: i can paint the map nd save it correctly but the result on hair is wrong.
The hair are still there even on black areas of the map.
It looks like Maya Hair doesn't handle poly UVs right when it comes to painting.
This happen ONLY on polys, not on NURBS and even with a simple new poly sphere with simple new default hair system.
I have to paint baldness and color for this production, can't use nurbs at this point, and this could be a huge bug.....
Please does anybody have an idea on why this happen ?
