Paper Modelling

Hi

I'm looking for some tutorials that might be helpful towards achieving this sort of look:

Most of my attempts don't look as clean. Any tips? I'm mostly working with basic shapes and objects, but trying to give them a more papery appearance without using shaders.

PS: You do undrstand that without shaders theres no images so no you can not avoid shaders

Thanks for the tip Joojaa. Yes, I understand this - I meant I didn't want to use specific shaders to achieve the effect, which I've done in the past.
