Particle Id's And Pp Color Values

Hello,

I have an emitted group of particles as blobby surface, i want to select desired particles and color them different colors.
So say there are 1000 particles, I want to select 25 say and color them independently.
I need them to be emitted from the same emitter.
Any ideas, your help will be welcome.

i m not sure but try this, press f8 and after going to comp mode select some particle now goto shader and apply with ur choice. again select more particle & do same process...........
