Particles Question

When I add particles it is supposed to put the type of particle under the particles operator so that I can edit the different parts, but it is not there, I see it in the viewport, but it is not showing in the workspace list under the particle operator... Is there an option that I am missing, or am I doing it wrong?

Are you sure you have an emitter for the particles? A lack of an emitter would explain why it does not appear in your workspace.

Yes I have an emitter, I can see them in the window, but it is not listed on the bottom left corner under particles.. Again I can see the particles on top of my footage, and I can play the particles in the comp, but I cannot adjust them because they do not show up on the list on the bottom left corner of the screen.

I hope this is clear, if not I will put up a picture.

Yeah, thats it, I didn't even see that triangle, it was so small...And I really appreciate you not assuming I was a complete moron and didn't see the triangle next to the particles operator, the other little triangle I didn't see.
