Actualy this just confirms what i stated in the earlier thread. Its more like what i call progression of the medicore. Technology is like rubber string thet extends in new interesting areas kjjust to gradualy snap allmost back to where it was a generation before.
The reason for this is especialy clear, see its called the masses. Let me exemplify this with a sister area to comp, namely rendering. Now take MR and then take Vray. Theres nothing in particular MR cant do that Vray does any particulary way better. Infact Mr does most what Vray does faster. BUT vray is simple to use in this regard, so the vray has what we call a make nice renders button. Part of the reason being how MR pushes their app and how vray pushes theirs.
Now wich of theese are what one needs is a question that needs to be anwered case by case. Arguably one could say Vray is better, if one measures qualitatvie renders form medicore users. However if yoru one for pushing the envelope, then Vray has littloe to offer you that mr cant do for you better (at the moment vray is good poiece of software).
The problem bvoils down to this fact. People dont want to feel medicore, so the medicore user environment cant be one that pushes your personal knowlege to its edge liek shake usage does. Becaus ethet would make the medicore feel threathened. So usualy what happens is thet theese progs carter the hardcore users in a way thats not desireable. But ore importantly it does not push lower end users forward like shake does. This is a optimiation issue but MAC is a for the masses firm.
Its not that you cant have two good interfaces one for the medicore and one for hardcore on top of eachother, its just that you rarely end up that way.
So while this is GREAT nows to some its devatating for some
