Photorealism

Ok trying to improve my photorealism skills so here goes, first few images, just a shot of an oldstyle watch, a living room and a futuristic wc. Dunno still look really fake i wanna try make them look like real photos, any advice please (even if just about composition or colours, whatever)?? cheers. using max8 and Vray1.47

Well they have all thet pesky looks like cg look, especially the watch (are the lights and the environment in mismatch?). The first ones definitely the best of them all. But it too has some definitively cgish qualities to how the light behaves. The second has better lightning quality to it but is not nearly as interesting as the first.
