Picture / image control image resizing or zoom+-?

I got a couple of questions about picture and image controls.I believe my responses for both, will negative.
please make me wrong!

1 - picture and image controls are totaly same ?

2- I know I ve no luck.but I m maybe wrong. yea I see there is no way to strech pictures loaded one of this control ?
ie. if I show 400 x 400 pixels is it possible to strecth it DEPENDING ITS CONTAINER ?
(I dont mean a python code to resize orginal file to another file)

in my point of view image control vb.net should have the same function as image programme, resize scale and stretch and so on. it is positive for me.

Honestly, I have no idea what you're asking. So here's my answer.

1. Grab all your fileTextureNodes, delete the 2DPlacementNodes for every single one. Next create 1 new 2DPlacementNode, and drop it onto your fileTextureNodes. Now you can control the stretch and placement of your image with 1 placementNode. 

2. Same as 1.

Thanks for your info. I have to admit that it is not so easy to find out a fine tool to zoom, resize and scale images. I will try your sharing later.
