I've created a tank track using a nurbcircle that I deformed using a lattice. I then copied the circle and rebuilt it. I deleted the original circle and lattice. I then used create animation snapshot to fill the circle with tracks. By using this method I figured out the spacing of the treads. I used this as a reference as it was exactly what I wanted except it was not animated. I copied the circle to use as a motion path for the animated track. I then started adding treads to the motion path. Each tread was duplicated to create the next one. Everything looked good until I added the last one. It overlapped the first one. Taking a closer look at the track I noticed that the pivot point of the tread was the same on all the treads except that about a third of the way around the motion path the tread and pivot point started to come off the motion path. Does anyone know why it would place the tread object off the motion path. The track is still animated but now it does'nt line up with the sprocets and wheels like it's suppose to. Any suggests or solutions would be appreciated.
