Hi Splice,
this request was to solve a problem I am having with the public test version of brazil. It has the motion blur option disabled, but i really wanted to use it so i could get the best quality i can. The way i'm rendering it out uses one layer rendered with brazil where all of the textures are white and the I use the sky light. The other two layers use the standard renderer, one with an ambient light turned up all the way and one with my shadow casting target lights. Once rendered you multiply the brazil layer with the layer that has the ambient, nest them and put the layer with the light over the result as an add layer. The finished product looks just as good as if rendered straight from brazil, better even because you don't get that artifacting you get from bump maps in brazil when rendering at a lower quality(which i have to do due to computer limitations). So anyway, brazil is smart enough not to include the velocity layer if saved as an RPF, so i've been trying anything i can do to get motion blur applied to the brazil layer. Any suggestions? oh yea, this is version 0.4.53 of brazil and gives permission to do whatever you want with the images so i'm not trying to violate anything here.
