Hi, I have a question maybe asked alot in this forum already.
I made a half human head with polygon, the vertex normal at on the nose side edge is not facing straight forward. As you would imagine facets will show up after I mirror -> attach.
So I did polygon -> mirroGeometry and adjust distance to weld the vertices. and than average normal with 0 distance on selected vertices. I would imagine thats the usuall way to do in this case?
Anyway the vertical line in the middle of the face is still no perfectly smooth. (any explaination?)
And if I now do polygon -> reduce, the half of the face is lighter shade than the other half. So the shared normals have been removed again I persume.
What did I miss?
I know its noooot 3D !
