Power animator?

hi,

Could anyone tell me where i could find the manufacturer of this product, i know its Alias, but is this Alias Wavefront, because if it is then why is there no mention of this product on their site, is it a part of studio tools or maya unlimited?

Could anyone help solve my confusion in regards to this product, from which i`ve seen is pretty good, I would just like to know some details on it.

For all purposes, Power Animator is a dead product; it was replaced by Maya. If you are interested in the advanced modeling tools/functions you might want to look at Studio. Power Animator was a subset of Studio (on SGI/Irix). The NT StudioTools package does not have all of the animation functions that the full blown Irix version had, but then again is not marketed at the entertainment industry like Power Animator. Personally, I miss Power Animator, but understand why it was phased out. If you've got any specific questions, just ask...

I could be mistaken, but the last time I looked they did not have particles, as well as several other goodies (warp lights comes to mind...).
