Preference/settings File Or Folder?

Can someone tell me where to find AE's stored settings or preference file or folder? I would like to trash them so they are regenerated at program startup (I'm assuming this would work with AE?).

For some reason the program now opens up every project I have with docked panels even though they have been saved with undocked. This is incredibly annoying and I'd like to see if resetting my prefs will clear it.

When starting after effects hold down Ctrl-alt-shift (pc) or command-option-shift (mac), it will then prompt you to delete your preferences.
