Press mouse on object

Hello...
It would please me to know like I can detect that object is underneath the mouse when pressing with the mouse button. What I would like is that "marking menu" appeared to me when pulse "shift" and the right button of the mouse and that one of the fields of that "marking menu" is the name of the object on which I am press and on that they will affect the changes that make with this menu.

Greetings and thank you very much.

Why don't you just use dagMenuProc.mel? This handles object under the pointer picking and the RMB menu. If I were you I'd just download my RMBcontextSensitive script and either use that for your needs or hack it up and use it as a starting point:

I don't think it's possible to use SHIFT as a key modifier either (with mouse buttons I mean).

in your window->settings->preferences->settings menu, you can tick on the popup menu selection option, which will create a menu of items appearing under the mouse cursor... investigate what that does if you really need to use the shift modifier to make it work.
