Hello all,
At my previous place of employment, we were applying 2 envelope operators to a polymesh, but somehow doing something to prevent double transforms. That is, a point is weight 100% to deformer A in the first envelope operator (Envelope Operator), and 100% to deformer B in the second envelope operator (Envelope Operator[1]). If deformer B is a child of deformer A, then when I move deformer A, the said point moves twice the distance. This double transform is expected, but I know there is a way to make deformer B relative in that you can make a cluster relative in Maya. That is, I need for deformer B to move the point only if deformer B moves in relation to its parent, deformer A. Anyone know how to accomplish this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
