I've gotten quite used to previewing my animations with a playblast in Maya. I haven't found a similar feature in XSI... am I wrong? Please tell me I am!
fast playback under the top right hand menu of each window- if you have 3.0 you have shaded 3d fast play back.
camera > start capture
