Printing out hypergraph connections

Hi all,

I am new to Maya scripting but not new to Python.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction here.

How do access the hypergraph connection nodes?
Specifically my model has operation nodes that perform addition and multiplication and I would like to manipulate them and possibly print them out.

listConnections is what your looking for. Tough it would be more productive for you to ask the thing you want to do.

Generally what I want to do is the following:
I have a Head model with some deformer that are controlled through a GUI implemented as nodes.  I want to export the relationship between the controls and the deformation parameters to a file. 
I have uploaded a file to illustrate, on the left is a standard face model and on the right are some controls. I was thinking that by parsing the node connections I could export that relationship.

I hope that made it a bit clearer.
