Probably me being stupid but cloth won't work

Ok, I was watching a tutorial on how to make a bed cloth and I did as it told, make a nurbs plane, resize it etc etc. But when it told me to go into the hotbox and select cloth I tried it, and my cloth option is blanked out. I can see where it is, but I cannot use it...any suggestions?

where'd you find that tutorial? i've been trying to find a decent cloth tutorial for a while...

I don't have access to Unlimited at the moment, but I'm pretty sure the Cloth stuff is a plugin. Your problem may be that it's not loading correctly. Go into Window> Settings/Preferences> Plugin Manager and check that the cloth plugin is loaded. If not, toggle it on. Click "auto load" to automate the process everytime you start Maya.
