thanks bhone to take time to answer
let me tell you, that during these days I have made some testing regarding this issue,
I figure out, my own opinion is that maya doesnt work
very well with models too small (collision and garments), I do not know if it is a problem with the solver or the way it uses the solver scale parameter,
I have to increase the size of my models at least 2 cm in real world size, based on the grid units, then a make the ribbon like 6 cm in the maya units, then I use to sclae the solver to 15 to have the cloth behavior as 60 cm, it works pretty well.
the other important thing to work with is the resolution for the stitcher I have to set it to 800, I did not set the resolution factor, I set it to 1 in the panel atribute.
anhoter important thing and not logical for me, is that I have to change the normals of the nurbs table in the direction of the gravity (-y) so the ribbon collide with the table, cos otherway the table pull the ribbon trough it.
I learn is better to make slow increments or decrements in the collision objects's offset parameters and try it to set the final resolution in the stitcher node because if you set the final resolution and not adjust the offset , the drape could not behave the same.
Ok thanks, I will move to the adjusting the cloth using constraint and move it trough the bell ring to have the final position of it over the bell
let you now
