Problem Opening Maya Live Tracking Projects

Hello All,

I'm currently working on something utilizing Maya Live, which prior to last week, I was yet to play with at any length (but have been itching to for some time).. However, When I save my scene and close Maya, I'm not able to continue tracking when I re-open the scene.. The entire LivePanels menu is greyed, as well as almost all of the Live menu options with the exception of the New Matchmove command..

Is this something that Maya should be doing? Would exporting the tracking points and re-importing them every time I open Maya be the solution? Doesn't seem like a very Maya-esque workflow...

Hey,
I had the same problem 5 years ago back when I thought maya live was worth using. What I did back then was track until it locked me out of 2d tracking then hope that I had enough track points to do some sort of camera solve. Then patch together all the camera solves I was able to squeeze out of it. You could also try saving incrementally a ton while working and go back to the non-locked out version when the 2d tracking shuts down... I'd recommend some 3rd party tracker for any serious work. Boujou is good, syntheyes is alright (and a lot cheaper).
