Problem To Import Video Files

Hello everyone,

first, excuse for my poor english.

I have a problem with shake 4.0 on macosx (tiger last update). whatever video file i want to work with, i have the same message in he console : "quicktime error code 43". i can only work with targa or tiff etc ...
i've looked for error 43 but i did'nt find what does it mean.

anyone can help ?

Does oyu file have to the correct ending ? Only *.mov suported for video.
Is it in right codec ??

i've tried many ways, for example, send it from fcp 5 or use "filein" with different codecs (dv, dvcpro hd) and it doesn't work ...
