I am trying to import my maya cam and locators into the shake multiplane, and it works but not well....
i have a camera move, wich looks ok compared to the maya scene, and my locators are also imported , but not in the front of the camera where they should be .
so after baking both the camera and locators, i just realised that it didn't change a thing .
the frame rate of maya is the same then my footage, and i saved the scene in .ma ....
does somebody has already encountered a problem like this ?
thanks
p.s. : this scene was originaly imported from xsi, using fbx, but i dont think the problem is there, since everything looks right in maya.

Well yes two possible things, to chek, is your coordinate system handedness changed, is the up type changed to otherthjan default. Are all the parts of the transformation chain baked, best possibly to bake locator's to world also. Is the camera scaled.
Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I've just done a straight "import .ma file into multiplane node", my camera move looks ok, the locators are all there, but when I try to insert something on the multiplane and line it up with rendered footage, it looks like the scale or the distance or the aspect ratio or something is a little out. Strange. It's not upside-down or mis-timed, just looks a little too far away.
Could it be the overscan? Or the film back? I've literally just taken the camera I used to render with in Maya and imported it into shake, surely that should match!
